I find being in a pub and saying to someone who insults you "Die in a fire you dire ****" doesn't work as well as it does on CW.

I have explained TLDR to people at work...and then proceed to use it. I often use it after a long winded comment - even though the R stands for read and not listen.

I've had to make a real conscious effort not to begin or end sentences with "for mine" for several years now.
