    Icon11 CWisms in inappropriate places

My mate just bought a car with the number plate 'WAC-123' (numbers replaced).

    Conversation:

Me: Haha your number plate, What A ****.

Did you actually say "What a asterisk asterisk asterisk asterisk"?

No wonder he thought you were a ****.

I find being in a pub and saying to someone who insults you "Die in a fire you dire ****" doesn't work as well as it does on CW.

Bars and pubs should have infraction points for social misdemeanours. Getting a half on your round and a pint on mine? 10 points.
I'm always suspicious of shops that sell bait.

I definitely overuse 'dire' in everyday conversation.
    ITSTL's extended form too.

I also spend a lot of time thinking in terms of WAC and WAG.

I have explained TLDR to people at work...and then proceed to use it. I often use it after a long winded comment - even though the R stands for read and not listen.

Proudly against the bring back Bennett movement since he is injury prone and won't last 5 days.

I've had to make a real conscious effort not to begin or end sentences with "for mine" for several years now.
    - As featured in The Independent.

"Predictably, the ending of his international career did not end the argument about Pietersen's merits, as an army of informed commentators and Piers Morgan weighed in to defend or attack him."
