Remembrance Day

I am shocked as hell that noone acknowledged this monumental day IMO only for some european nations and canadians it seems with a thread, So i took it upon myself to make one.

This is a very common poem about WWI , and some or maybe most may have heard it:

John McRae, "In Flanders Fields":

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,

That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,

Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw

The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, through poppies grow

In Flanders fields.

----------------------------

We have not forgotten...

----------------------------

this is a quote from Albert Einstein, who after living through both wars stated "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones"

If you read it once and once more maybe you will understand what he means, and i for one am not going to disagree with that statement butt do sincerely hope that its false and we do not ever have to face a world war III let alone WW IV.

A tired, grieving Jerome.
