What will you remember 2011 for?

Economist looks back at 2011 - The world this year | The Economist

What are your important memories of the year? Mine:

- The year when Arab tyrants fell one after the other
- The year when Japan was ravaged by an unprecedented natural disaster
- The year when so much went wrong with Euro economy that I could not keep pace
- The year when they "found" faster than light particle and "may have found" higgs boson
- The year when Australia did not win the cricket world cup

I had a sex dream about Simon Amstell, last night, I think that will be my biggest memory, it was disconcerting, but oddly nice too.

Will be trying to forget most of it, save for the end of the 77 years of hurt and living with my eldest son for 6 months

I think it's much more likely they've found the Higgs Boson than the faster than light particle .
