A friend lost her house apparently.
It was on, pardon the pun, shaky ground after the February quake, but this was the final straw. Liquefaction has rendered it too unstable to live in.
edit: According to facebook she made the news.
That must have been a restless night for Cantabrians............ ten quakes over 4 Mag (two 5+) since 11pm last night.
What a time to lose your house!
Didn't feel the main quake or the first aftershock. Felt the second one though whilst I was seated on a stool in a cafe. Felt quite heavy even all the way down here.
