Halloween Special: Films that scared the **** out of you

I'll kick this off with a personal top five:

    1. Shutter
    2. The Omen
    3. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
    4. The Shining
    5. Psycho

I almost doubled my dry-cleaning bill watching the thail movie Shutter in a cabin with some friends back in 2006. Highly recommend it if you want a good scare.

The Orphanage was pretty creepy when I watched it. Ju-On, Ringu (and its American remake), The Devil's Backbone, Audition I all found either scary or unsettling. There have been some quality Spanish and Japanese horrors in the last couple decades.

Haha, who allowed you to watch it at such a young age?

The crunching of the bones was the worst part for me. Shivers down the spine.
