You know JI is really a kool party. In the whole Pakistan after the amendments in the constitution which make it optional and not a requirement for parties to have party elections to nominate the head of the party JI is the only party which still has its annual elections to nominate the head of the party.

tbf the JI have more than a few skeletons in their cupboard but yes they are the only ones holding elections to elect their party chief
the news vs. dawn? I think the threat is genuine. Imran is not popular among Talibans.
He defends the general people of that area in that Drone strikes are fatal for innocents but he doesn't quite approve of the ways the Taliban want to "rule"
It was about time that Pakistan Armed Forces brought a larger assault to hit these guys hard.
the Pakistan armed forces can't do **** in the tribal areas. Those areas are tough to man let alone carry out operations. And tbh I do think Pak military has a lot of capability issues

I think they have done quite a bit their and lost a lot of soldiers. being capable or not technologically is a different thing. yeah we don't have drones. But at the end of the day what other tech could be that useful other than sending boots their.
And news is just going to leave a bad taste in my mouth now for PTI. I was really expecting it to be a part which will bring reforms in its real sense but now its becoming more of the same as other parties. My only hope is that Imran Khan realizes what his cause was to be in politics in the first place.
the fact is that Imran can't operate in a vacuum. As he once remarked "I am running for elections in Pakistan, not in England" so most of the candidates will have some baggage that they bring with them. Having said that Imran's party has relatively "clean" people and as he says that the people who have joined his party have done so on his agenda. If he can't take it in the right direction from here then he isn't really a leader.
That's my point. He must realize or more so remember the fundamentals and principles on which he started politics.
I still believe he is our best hope...Now I have to pray for his long life because of what those ****s said about killing him.
