I don't understand the point of the first article Fusion. Yes Imran has got the math wrong and has exaggerated the figures but essentially what he says is true. Baluchistan sits on huge natural resources, there is huge amounts of tax evasion and Swiss banks have declared $50 billion worth of illegal holdings.

Btw, has Imran Khan still taken a position on the whole Salman Taseer assasination(Kidnap of his son), Asia bibi verdict and the Blasphemy laws in Pakistan and proposed amendments to them?
PPP is probably the most "liberal" party in that regard, while Sharif is a opportunist who will swing from one direction to another. From what i can gather wrt to Imran he was supporting amendments a while back and saying something similar to taseer, but as his support began to grow he turned more right wing and became indifferent to religious intolerance. Is that view correct? |

Imran is against the blasphemy laws, but that's all I know at the moment. Maybe Smali, Salman, Xuhaib, Faisal or Fusion can answer.
Imran isn't indifferent to religious intolerance, in fact quite the opposite. Last edited by Agent Nationaux; 09-11-2011 at 03:50 PM. |
