World is at a serious risk if Pakistan's nuclear weapons fall into the hands of some lunatics in midst of all this madness. That's the first thing that worries me as a citizen of Pakistan's neighbouring country.

nah.....Pakistan's nuclear assets are pretty safe unless the military decided to sell it to some militant groups. Otherwise Pakistan's nuclear technology has only been transferred to Iran and North Korea I think.

Nawaz's party's popularity rises while Imran's PTI loses momentum
The latest opinion poll says PML is first, followed by PTI and PPP. If this holds, and I believe it will, Nawaz Sharif will form the next government. God help us as he's even more rightwing than Imran. The interesting thing will be if Imran will join Nawaz in a coalition government. I expect he will. They hold similar views on foreign policy and domestic extremism. Imran won't be the next PM, but he'll certainly be the king maker. |

Yea, I know why it is done (to make sure people who can't read/write can figure out who is who), but this is pretty hilarious. With that said, it would be a travesty if it's a cricket ball over a cricket ball...where can I officially protest? I'm actually surprised - don't parties have official symbols like in India or America? Barring that, maybe pictures of the main people running? It makes sense for Imran but if they are coming up with symbols for other parties at the last minute, I can definitely see a lot of confusion at the polls.
