    Yaju wannabe thread.
marc71178 - President and founding member of AAAS - we don't only appreciate when he does well, but also when he's not quite so good!

Anyone want to join the Society?

    14 Celsius? Cold? Wrong...

Something I've discovered these last few weeks is that Southerners are complete pansies when it comes to temperature. I'm in a T-shirt and everyone else is in coats, scarves, gloves, woolly hats, etc, etc...

    Not even close.

If Yaju had started it, the thread would have been called (conservative estimate here):

I challenge you. Come here in mid-January for a holiday. You will be coolly welcomed - temperatures below -10 Celsius is not uncommon, and you could see half a yard of snow. Then we'll see who's the pansy...

at the ****-take of Neil, always good fun....:P

I can vouch for that fact that all Southerners are a bunch of fairies. Unbelievable wimpy

I can also vouch for the fact that it rains a lot, absolutely hammered it down earlier Also we came quite close to snow as well earlier this week. It was about 4-5 degrees I think with wind chill factor. That sorts the men from the boys.

PS I'm the same Neil, wearing a T-shirt today and people were mocking me as they were wearing about 6 layers of clothing. Strange bunch these Southern fairies......

I went to Melbourne in July and here I was walking around in shorts an t-shirts and not really cold and people who had lived in the city were wearing scarfs, beanies, jumpers, jackets, and here was I, never been there before, wearing shorts and t-shirt and people wearing all warm stuff, you would of thought it would of been the other way around.

    Weird.

It's dark and I can't be bothered to look. I mean, this Bangladesh v England game is gripping stuff and I don't want to miss a second of it.
