    Knox/Sollecito verdict due soon...

    Although if you follow such things you'll already know that

    Any predictions?

    The Defence have basically won the battle of the evidence.

    But the Prosecution have done very well in portraying the personality of Knox as someone who fits local ideas of a scheming witch.

    Plus there is the politics and reputation of the Italian judicial system and a smattering of Nationalism on both sides.

    As lay members have the majority vote it's not as clean cut for acquittal as maybe it should be.

    Whether she is guilty or not I can't see the Italians letting themselves end up with egg on their face by admitting they were wrong in the first place.

    So difficult for us from afar to know if she is or isn't guilty as we just get the biased media versions of the evidence over here and I haven't searched enough to read deeply into it.
