If it is not a decent hour to fall asleep then take a break.....(that's what experts recommend ) go get a drink or some fruit and think about other stuff like what you're going to do with your rather long holiday.

Upto you whether you pay any notice.....I wish I'd paid notice to myself.......

That was a bit profound :O

Which bits are you having trouble with?

Classification is easy in the sense I think you're speaking of:

Metal:Metal bonds present = metallic compound

Metal:non-metal bonds present = ionic.

Non-metal:non-metal = covalent.

Easy.

Redox gets most the first time around. You so AIN'T alone! The trick when doing the full reaction equations where you combine the two half-equations is to remember how to balance the equations (e-'s for electrons, H2O's for the oxygens and H+'s for the hydroniums) and stick to the checklist RIGIDLY. Also, know how electropositive a metal is (to pick which one will reduce and which will oxidise) is handy but as far as the reactivity of the metals, there's no absolute hard-and-fast rule unfortunately. Electropositivity increases down groups on the periodic table if that helps.

Ask me some specific questions and I'll give you specific answers.

Well duh :duh:

My tips will only help a bit the rest has to be yourselves. You're all clever (well you chose CW which must say something about your heightened intelligence ) and therefore you will whack the exams for 6 and then go out and get absolutely mashed on various types of intoxicating liquids....(just stay away from red AfterShock :ticking: )

If there's anything worse than exams it's waiting for exams..........

In third year I had 5 chem exams and all of them were in the last three days of the exam period!

I just had my two Specialist Maths exams in the last three days.
I can say that they went okay, but as it is specialist maths, some of it was very, very tricky.
