I understand your dislike for him Fusion, but I like him because he has played the game better than anyone else, including Varys and Tyrion. The deaths of the Starks were all indirectly caused by Littlefinger, unlike the Freys and Lannisters who directly caused their deaths. Such a badass character like littlefinger deserves to see his plan succeed in the end. Also hoping that if the Starks don't get their revenge, Littlefinger manages to wipe out the Freys.

But of course I may change my mind on LF, depending on what Martin has in store and his role in the upcoming events.

And smalishah's avatar is the most classy one by far Jan certainly echoes the sentiments of CW

Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta

Anyone heard of Martin replacing the next Dunk and Egg short story, 'The She-Wolves of Winter' with 'The Princess and the Queen'? It's about how the Dance of the Dragons civil war started between Aegon II and Rhaenyra.

    What a bastard!!!

Would rather he finished the series instead of writing short stories set in the same universe.

An yeah ADWD basically confirmed he is.

He'd still be a bastard though. So not strictly speaking a Targaryen.

    Oh you're back.

And Lyanna could have married Rhaegar in secret. Remember that the Targs could have more than one wife - Aegon the conqueror had 2 sister wives.

I don't think the "bastard" aspect will really be that significant. If he has Targaryen blood, he will get support from the masses (who will be tired of the current claimants to the throne waging war and destroying everything in their path). Perhaps Jon will have to be subservient to Daenerys being a bastard though. It's been a long held theory that he's one of the heads of the dragon in Danny's prophecy.
