Btw,how different are the Food items in the west of pakistan to the ones in the east?

I believe the cuisine mostly in the eastern part of the country specially the south east part is pretty similar to northern indian cuisine?
generally mughali cusine is similar in both pakistan and north india, because mughali cuisine was mostly invented in two cities Lahore and Delhi. But the regional cuisines are obviously different, even with in india they are different

western pakistani regional cuisine is very afghan/iranian in taste, they use very little spices. In areas of western punjab bordering the pashtun areas, they also heavy influence from those areas

Yep.

Gol Gappa is more popular in North India, West India and East India in that order than in South India.

It is known as Pani Puri in Mumbai and gup chup in Orissa.

You mean the difference between Pakistan and Bangladesh

There isn't too much difference in terms of spices since the most spicy food is generally eaten in the south east part of the country as you mention. Although NWFP people are generally more meat eaters and generally eat less spices than almost all areas in pakistan

Contrary to popular belief, Punjabi Karahi Chicken is 99.94 percent Dravidian. Whereas, Afghan dishes such as Chopan Kabobs are Aryan.
