What are the better football (soccer) pc games?

I've only played EA FIFA, and want to update from my old 2001 game.

On PC wait until Pro Evolution Soccer 3 comes out. It's only ever come out on PS and PS2. But in Novemeber PES 3 is going to be released on PS2 and PC. It's the best gameplay ever. Once you've played PES, FIFA seems so damn unrealistic. The graphics won't be as good as FIFA 2004 but their still alot better than FIFA 2001. If you want a game that your gonna be playing non-stop get PES3!!! The PES rang is by far the best football games for gameplay.

this maybe the first time ican finally switch from the annoying yet better than the rest PES2, FIFA 2004 may finally be good enough to overtake PES3, which it seems still has a lot of its old flaws.

nah FIFA is bad. the players are liek directed towards the goal and stuff. it's just got bad gameplay (not too bad) but compared to PES 3 it's not worth it.

You could always try Championship Manager anzac, which is not action but more managerial. you don't play but it's so realistic and so addictive. CM 01/02 is the best, better than 4 IMO. CM 03/04 is gonna be awesome though.

ok so does the ISS PRO series play Premier League etc?

I seem to remember from my old PS1 days that it only had WC & International friendlies only?

I can't imagine playing football without having the EPL & ECL etc, let alone lining up as my fav team!
