This is the first (and possibly last) time you will ever be useful to me.
Answer the following problem and many riches will await you in the after life*: My laptop (Windows 7) was on the blink. I tried to format it/system recover the house down however it got halfway through and stopped. Then it wouldn't load because it kept coming up BOOTMNGR is missing or some guff. Anyways, tried to install Windows XP (only version available to me) but didn't work, so my mate installed Ubuntu which is ****ing crazy, no idea how to work this mofo. Anyways, I want to install XP over Ubuntu. Is there an easy way to do this? *Can not guarantee an after life.

Bloody hell. He installed Ubuntu for you? Yeah don't even try that unless you know what you're doing, completely and utterly different.
Get him to do it for you, since if he knows how to use Ubuntu he should be able to work its various weird tricks to get XP up.

Gonna retract my BOTM vote.

You're using a 2011, very very souped-up, prettified version of DOS, basically. Really good and really really easy if you know what you're doing, ****ing confusing if you don't because it's so different. |
