    Would that be the same way that every manager defends their 'bad-boy' player. To name just one example, Arsene Wenger defended Patrick Vieira when it just wasn't defendable.

    of course wenger defended Veiria, the same way Ferguson defendeds Keane or any other Man utd player that breaks the rules. Which is also the same way Souness stood up for Lucas Neill when he got sent off against Liverpool.
    Every manager does it.

    I dont mind Man Utd. I like Giggs, Scholes, Howard and young ronaldo, who looks to have a big future. I dont mind van nistelrooy, the guy is the best striker in the premiership, apart from, alan shearer that is.
