Ah nah. I'll definitely pursue my studies and get a boring job. The pay for being in that line of service isn't all that great tbh.
Also worth mentioning that there have been 5 reported deaths from National Service this year. Most recent one was my friend's platoon mate who died from smoke inhalation. Another kid was found floating in a river in Brunei as well after he went missing on one of their outfield exercises. RIP to them, can't even begin to imagine the frustration their families must be feeling. |
