Partly because I only know one band and have their CDs- and partly in an attempt to game the system.

I vote
1st Rank Ramones

And do not wish to rank the others.

Ftr, would place Foo Fighters near the bottom if it wasn't for their first three albums. Can't stand anything they've done since but LOVE their early stuff.

Agree with Corrin (never thought I'd say that in a music thread )

My personal fave song is The KKK Took My Baby Away, but if you want to go the general route then starting with I Wanna Be Sedated, Blitzkrieg Bop etc is the way to go.

Thanks mate. On first listen the KKK Took My Baby Away song sounds pretty good, I gave The Ramones a low rating cause I'd only really heard Blitzkrieg Bop and Rock n Roll High School.

53rd and 3rd by the Ramones - you will either like it if you like loud music or will hate it.

If you listen to the lyrics it is about male prostitution at a notorious street corner in NY city. "53rd and 3rd your the one they never pick".

YouTube - The Ramones - 53rd & 3rd

I had the chance to see the Ramones but missed out...
