The Real 'Stuff White People Like’

No idea how old this is or if people have seen it.

The Real 'Stuff White People Like?

I dont think this should be taken too seriously but it is a little insight into ethnic cultural differences in the US.

Taking 500 000+ OKCupid profiles and finding the things that only typically appear in other profiles by people of the same ethnicity ie liked and mentioned by a particular group and not so by others.

Obv these are essays on a dating website. You cant draw any hard conclusions as who knows if anyone is actually telling the truth.

There are also some interesting numbers on the grade level of the writing used for different demographics.

    Anyway,

    So if you like:

    - Tom Clancy, golf, Soundgarden and motorbikes then you are most likely a white dude.

    - basketball, God, describe yourself as 'cool' and like nas then you are black

    - software, noodles, Korea and being 'a simple guy' then more likely than not you are Asian

    - Cricket, Indian food, Bollywood and MBAs then -go figure- you are Indian.

Apparently I'm half Indian, quarter white and quarter Asian. Go figure.
Cricket Web's 2013/14 Premier League Tipping Champion

    - As featured in The Independent.

"as much a news event as an actual footballer, a worthy stop-start centre forward, but an all-time hyper-galactico when it comes to doing funny things with cars and hats, a player whose signing proves once again that the Premier League is still undoubtedly the best in the world when it comes to doing things with cars and hats."

In a US context that's probably a reasonable rule of thumb.

Definitely not black.. The rest is a mystery though..

I always thought it was easy to tell somebody's race by the car they drive.. Although when Goughy picked me up from the airport in a Nigerian's car with diplomatic plates I scrapped that theory..

Anyone in SA agree with these 9/10 rules?

White golf = White student.. With any modifications = Afrikaans male - Any form of spoiler = Coloured male
all other VW's are a bit of a lottery..

Toyota, unless Yaris, Land Cruiser or Hilux bakkie = Black male

BMW 3 Series = White Female, this always applies

Any other BMW = Ususally Black

Chevrolet Spark = Always white female

Mercedes if older than 10 years - White Male, if younger than 10 years - Black female

    Audi - White male
