    Look at the laws.

Take the Diane Pretty Euthanasia case. For her husband to help her to die would be the better thing, yet that's illegal. And keeping her alive suffering is the worse - but that's legal, so it must be right?

Illegal work benefits the economy whereas no work whatsoever does nothing for anyone. Pretty conclusive in my book.

That is a moral issue - this is completely different.

I'd like to know how this illegal benefits the economy. If their working for someone illegally, then I doubt that that person is going to be too keen be legal either.
marc71178 - President and founding member of AAAS - we don't only appreciate when he does well, but also when he's not quite so good!

Anyone want to join the Society?

Beware the evils of Kit-Kats - they're immoral apparently.

It satisfies wants, hence it benefits the economy.

You asked why, I answered your question.

Your answer condoned breaking the law as it satisfied wants.

Whose wants? The illegally working people is the only ones I can see who benefit here.

    I never once condoned it.

I said that the satisfaction of wants benefitted the economy, and illegal work does that.

So what do you call that if it isn't condoning then?

It did not condone or condemn it. It just answered the question as asked.

But you did say it was better for people to work illegally than not work at all, and when I asked why you said "It satisfies wants, hence it benefits the economy."

So is that not your opinion then?

Yes it is my opinion that it is better to work illegally than not work at all... but that is not condoning it.

Not working at all does nothing for anyone!

If it is your opinion, then you believe it, and you must be stupid to believe in something you don't agree with.

Talking out your backside again there.

It is my opinion that this Labour government's policies are better for Britain than the previous Tory government's polices.

That does not mean that I agree with the policies though does it?

Try thinking things through next time.
