    Australia World Cup Squad

Some interesting decisions by Eddie Jones & selectors.

No Owen Finnegan (especially after Toutai Kefu pulled out) & also Steve Kefu who lost out to Nathan Grey.

and Matt Dunning is in!!?? lol are Australia really that desperate for players?

there were rumours going around for the last couple of days that finnegan wasnt going to be picked. And rightly so, hes past it, to me he still looks like an amatuer.

I must admit I thought once Kefu was ruled out I thought Finegan would be blindside and Smith No. 8 :P

As I've said time and time again, I think Jones is tactically impotent as a coach. At least he left his favorites Steve Kefu and Daniel Heenan out of the sqaud.

I'm a tad suprised at Cockbain - I think 2003 is just 1 year too far for him.

I'm pleased to see Noregia get the sack - he's useless. Baxter looks a top-notch prop.

As for Dunning Tim, we need him for the drop kicks

Phil Kearns especially seems to mock Matt Dunning when hes playing for NSW.

Australia's forwards to be honest aren't that fearsome especially to England or South Africa with their big men so they're going to have to work very hard in that area or else the quality Aussie backs aren't going to get much chance to spark.

I know Finnegan looks like he's 40, but he actually made an impact against NZ both times he came off the bench.

And now that Kefu's out it really is a big ask for some of the new guys to immediately start dominating England, NZ, France etc in the World Cup.
