Battle of the Albums

Ok, having criticised the current battle of the movies, I guess it's on me to do something constructive. So, ta-da-da-dah! Battle of the Albums. Has to be something released as an album - best ofs do not count.

I think we'll cap this at 64, might look at 96 if we get enough noms. Normal process of nominate and seconding, with 10 noms and 10 seconds per person. If we get heaps more than 96, I'll post the list of seconded choices and ask for thirds.

My nominations:
Revolver - The Beatles
Abbey Road - The Beatles
Achtung Baby - U2
At Folsom Prison - Johnny Cash
Black Holes and Revelations - Muse
Brothers in Arms - Dire Straits
Copper Blue - Sugar
Nevermind - Nirvana
Ride the Lightning - Metallica
Superunknown - Soundgarden

There are others I might have nominated if I wasn't sure they'll get nominated by someone else.

Pretty sure there's a thread floating around that got binned. Anyway:

Nominate:

AC/DC - Let There Be Rock
AC/DC - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap (Aus)
Nirvana - In Utero
Radiohead - Kid A
Rage Against the Machine (self titled)
Led Zeppelin I
Led Zeppelin IV (zoso)
System of a Down (self titled)
Pink Floyd - The Wall
Pink Floyd - Animals

Second:

Radiohead - OK Computer
Nirvana - Nevermind
Metallica - Ride the Lightning

Need someone to nominate Master of Puppets and Justice for All as well, along with AC/DC's Powerage. Would nominate Azadi by Junoon but unfortunately that'd be a wasted nom on you people.

Guns N' Roses - Appetite for Destruction
Guns N' Roses - Use Your Illusion I
Guns N' Roses - Use Your Illusion II
Guns N' Roses - Chinese Democracy
oasis - Definitely Maybe
oasis - Don't Believe The Truth
Motley Crue - Shout at the Devil
blur - blur
Papa Roach - The Paramour Sessions
Motley Crue - Too Fast For Love

Bit of a mix of maybe six of my favourite albums ever and then a few other that I am very fond of

If AFD doesn't win this whole thing then this forum has no credibility btw

Athlai doesn't lie. And he doesn't do sarcasm either, so you know it's true!
