Fav ever actor was Paul Newman. Made the transistion from leading man to character actor seamlessly and, in fact, some of his later work was his most interesting. Of those still on the mortal coil, well it's easy to say De Niro but he hasn't really been excellent since Heat, so will go for James "Tony Soprano" Galdolfini, whose acting in The Sopranos blew away pretty much everything that's been on film in the past decade.

Fav film is Cross of Iron.

Don't really have a single favourite, but Robert Downey Jr is pretty much win in every role he's done and is a very talented actor IMO.

Would probably say De Niro, when he was at his best he was incredible. On a similar note, although De Niro doesn't do real powerful roles any more doesn't he have a right to die down his career a bit after all his previous work?

Precam is my favourite actor, has performed a number of roles, each one worse than the last.
