Aussie teams to join NPC?

Apparently the NZRFU is devising a new NPC in NZ which will encompass Auckland, Waikato, Otago, Canterbury & Wellington aswell as the 3 Australian Super 12 teams Queensland, New South Wales & A.C.T

While NZ should be looking to give something back to Australia because of other sports such as the Warriors, NZ Breakers, Kingz etc..I'd hate to see Taranaki, Northland, Southland, Bay of Plenty etc relegated to some stupid Amateur division.

The reason I love watching the NPC is to see teams like Northland upset the more powerful teams like Auckland.

Currently the NZRFU owns all the NPC franchises, but under a new structure in order to keep players in NZ from going overseas in search of the big bucks, they are considering selling the provinces to millionaires so that may mean that there will be a lot more buying & selling of players etc..maybe even Australian teams having NZ'landers & vice versa.

I am a Bay of Plenty supporter so I hope that never happens. There is a lot of support in the Bay and quite a few All Blacks have come from there.

haha, The Bay. BOP wont be going any fast.

For me I kinda of confused about who to support. I was born in Canterbury, but hate them passionately. I now support Auckland, but earlier this when moving house, I crossed the border into North Habour territory, so I just sure who to put my weight behind...

IF it means the relegation of other Nz teams that will be gay..
Because we need players to come up from all parts of NZ which NPC does, gives a wide range of players oppurtunity to prove themselves..

But aussie teams in means our teams can be tested against the might of the aussies and we can just work on those areas that we are weak at
