Thanks. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad my letter was put in the paper. But, I feel when they edited the letter they made me sound more abrupt and arrogant. Both of which I try my best to try and not be (although I know sometimes I come across that way) Anyway, I prefer the unedited version in the "a letter" thread.

Hahaha CDM, I would never describe you as arrogant, you are doing yourself a disservice.

By the way here in Germany there is compulsory political education ('Gemeinschaftskunde') and no one cares, probably cause it's horribly done to scare kids off from ever becoming interested. Congrats of course.

Apart from how it should be added to the other thread, good stuff.

Reckon you should use CDM as your pseudonym and lie about your age - that letter could be written by someone much older.

    Otherwise, top stuff!

Also, it's trollop how every letter has to be prefaced by 'Sir' - the Economist and Time (I think) do it as well. Have they never had female editors? Or people of lesser breeding? Crock of ****, IMO.
