Watch Out for Aasif Maandvi, especially his last comment and expression. It is supposed to be a funny expression, but it was a sad and disgusted look.
If Jon Stewart was running for President, I would vote for him over anyone else, even Obama.

I'm sure you're not alone either, an idea that he himself has said is a sad indictment on US politics.

By the way, **** CBS for not making that stream available outside the US. It used to work fine, what happened?!

Recent PPP poll in Iowa has Paul 1% behind Newt in 2nd. If Paul wins Iowa or does well both there and in NH the Fox News machine will start ****ting itself.

With defined benefit pensions based on the final-year salary, it is commonplace for US public sector workers, in cahoots with weak supervisors, to game this arrangement. Excessive overtime, temporary upgrading and other techniques inflate the recorded final-year salary of public sector workers, which in turn drive up retirement incomes. Oftentimes, workers will leave the state upon retirement -- fleeing to the warmer southern states -- which means they do not pay state or local government taxes.

Iraq Body Count

True figure likely to be much, much higher. These guys only include deaths which they've triple confirmed.

And Ron Paul doing everything in his power to scare the war-thirsty Republicans. I.e. no chance of winning.

I took the figure from The Guardian article published today. Congressional Budget office had figures of about 800 Billion USD. This is just the cost for the US and also direct cost of war. True cost of war is expected to be 3 times of the direct cost.

It is ****ing scary to listen to these debates and see the shills in the Republican party so gung-ho about war. Makes me sick to my stomach that they didn't learn anything from Iraq, now Iran is in the crosshairs.
