Not sure if this is sad or funny.

Democrats: Let's Ban Profits! - YouTube

Mind you, idiots on both sides, of course.

The Daily Show: Pregnancy from rape 'impossible' - YouTube

And these people are delegates...supposedly enlightened and active political participants.

The most amazing aspect about Bill Clinton is how much he has improved as a public speaker. His speech last night is inspiring awe even amongst Republican. He wasn't always this good, as his 1988 DNC speech was widely panned. To go from that to perhaps the most effective communicator alive today (in terms of politics) is simply amazing.

It's one of those dumb American videos. I'm sure you can go anywhere in the world ask questions and get loads of stupid answers to put on YouTube. Doesn't mean anything, apart from the fact the people are stupid.

The problem is that this isn't just a random person on the street. These were taken at the Republican and Democratic conventions... they're elected delegates.

Yeah, really impressive. And even Biden's doing OK at the moment.

Such a great moment when Giffords came on stage earlier as well.

I know he can't really do it, but I do miss the poetic rhetoric of the 2008 Obama.

Giffords' recovery has been insane. Incredibly lucky to survive, luck even more on her side that she retained the ability to speak at all and appears to have retained much of her higher-reasoning if not all of it.

Thanks God for providing her with such good doctors.
