Clinton is a genius at it. Keating was brilliant on explaining the economic stuff - to the point where he once said "I guarantee if you walk into any pet shop in Australia today, the resident galah will be talking about micro-economic reform" and got away with it - but he never had Clinton's home spin manner which made it feel like he was having a chat with you on your front verandah.
Just watching the speech now. I read the transcript earlier today and thought the text fair crackled with intensity, the speech itself is just awe-inspiring. Good lord.
