Well, I hardly think that'd get me very far.

But at least you could go off to gaol knowing you've fought the good fight and held true to your beliefs.

    Undoubtedly a fair criticism, that.

Apparently some of the wealthier members of our readership have been making a few noises in recent days, so we'll see what happens. I'll have a bit of weighing up to do - on one hand, loyalty to the publication and to an editor who took a massive punt five years ago on a young writer with bugger-all experience; on the other, the need for a bit more security in my employment. It's pretty fortuitous that this happened during a time where my partner has freelance work coming out of her ears. Some weeks she has very little, if any at all. That could have made mortgage payments... interesting.

Yes, libertarianism is all about being able to drive as fast as you want. Itís almost like you donít know what youíre talking about.

Finished my last day at my previous job and had great delight in obliterating my uniform. Now get to be a full time archaeologist and I can finally earn a dollar off my degree in NSW.

Started raining just as I left office, so I absolutely legged it home hoping it wouldn't get too heavy, unfortunately it did and I got drenched. Bad day to forget my umbrella.

Made : Away on vacation for the whole of next week

Though the realization that I've been killing time at work all week and could have legged it a few days earlier is bothering me a bit.

I stopped a doggo that had escaped its owner and was making a beeline for a busy road yesterday. The owner turned out to be this pretty girl who thanked me and stood, almost expectantly, smiling at me for several seconds. I did nothing and she left, and I wondered what could have been. Oh well.

Was it made or ruined? Is it up to the reader to decide the ending?
