11 year old Burgeinho, fresh from 36* in the morning filled in fielding for my mob this arvo and pulled down a screamer at backward square leg to snare the first catch of the day in a decent win. Such a moment.

I was immensely proud the only time I ever batted with my Dad, trouble was in my eagerness to get off the mark I completely overlooked the fact that the reason he hadn't played for 10 years was a dodgy knee - his was not the face I wanted to see as I approached the bowler's end and I was run out by miles - what was really irritating was that he found it hilarious

He'd have one of the top five pairs of hands in the club. Fmd if he gets into his 20s and pulls a bikini model I don't think I'll be prouder.

My eldest (24) recently pulled his mother's best mate, which I wasn't too comfortable with, but am slightly ashamed to say that I was very proud when, after behaving like a bit of a **** he dropped her like a stone a couple of weeks later - I haven't let on though, obviously
