Firstly – allow me to say thank you very much for your application to the BBC New Comedy Award 2012 – we had an amazing amount of entries and the competition has been extremely strong this year. From 800 applications we’ve had to whittle down to just 80 places at the heats.
You are one of the 80 acts that really stood out for us, and we would love to see you in the regional heats!
Now, apologies – we are running a little behind and we still need to do a little work to get everyone arranged into heats, but we will be in touch in the next couple of days to confirm which heat we’d like to place you in. If there have been any changes to the dates you can or can’t do (which you told us on your application form) then please do let us know as it will make the process a little easier.
We will be in touch again in the next couple of days.
CONGRATULATIONS! We are very excited to see you soon!

The speed at which a fielding team gets through the innings is overrated.
Nice work mate! Good luck with it.

Apple's not in it for the money, says Ive
Well, there it is people. Apple aren't in it for the money. The yearly incremental upgrades to existing products which could just as easily have been added earlier, deliberate hardware and software changes to cripple older, perfectly functional products, their peripherals and non-Apple software as well as using the courts to go after your competition, suing the **** out of companies whose slidebar looks vaguely like yours, yup, all about good design and making the best products.
Apple is a charity, clearly.

Was thinking about a time I was teaching at a primary school. It was my first day and I knew vaguely where I was but not how to get back onto the main road to take me home. So I asked a girl's dad for directions. He was a blind man with a guide dog but directed me to the bus stop. I say 'but'...of course he knows directions...still a bit of a bizarre occurrence.
WTF, it still does that all the time. All of a sudden it switches from handset to speaker cause my ear hit the button. Absolute bull!Sir Jonathan said the company, which sold 26 million iPhones in the last quarter, nearly abandoned the device because it couldn't work out how to stop users from activating the touchscreen with their ears during calls
They clearly haven't gotten it working so why didn't they abandon it? It's all about the product right?

The truly NSFL aspect of Chris Brown for me is that Team Breezy has tons of female fans who defend him and bag Rihanna, not just in a general sense but around the specific assault on her perp'd by him. It.....I.........
