Massive relief - can get back to living happy again. Thanks to all for the thoughts etc over the last couple of weeks, has been greatly appreciated. This hangover is not conducive to work.

Got good news from the doc. Turns out it's just swelling in the nodes related to getting older. Wish the GP had said as much 2 weeks ago! Still have blood test results and an Ultrasound until the 'all clear' is given but the specialist was happy and that is good enough for me and mrs ripper.

    Wheres the wine?
Great news mate! Will have to catch up for that beer sometime too.

I can't imagine how I'd deal with something like that mate. Glad to see it seems to have worked out.

Definitely mate - I haven't sent my resume off yet, have had other things taking up my time the last few days - will get it all together this weekend with any luck (despite working 32 of the 48 hours in the weekend)

I remember seeing similar jokes about the 'disasterous' Auckland earthquake about a year ago - measured something like 3 on the Richter scale.

    Ruined:

****ed up my C4 Maths paper. I'm already thinking of a repeat in Jan. And it didn't help when I realised straight after the paper the stupid mistakes I had made. Left an easy Partial fraction/Integration question because I forgot to substitue the values and therefore couldn't separate the fraction. IDIOT!!!

The speed at which a fielding team gets through the innings is overrated.
