    Made me laugh:
Enormously fat bloke got on the bus and sat across the aisle from where I was sitting with my friends. He then promptly fell asleep. But then he was jolted awake - his phone started ringing loudly. He was so startled that he may have been briefly airborne.

That alone would have made it hard enough for us to stifle our laughs, but wait, there's more. What was his ringtone? It was Lady Gaga's Bad Romance.

    Made:

The first traces of discipline in catching up on six weeks' worth of prescribed reading. For four subjects.

    Ruined:

Took the wrong bus back home, had to walk about 10km home. One to tell the grandkids.

    Made:
Exam this morning was scrapped out with minimal fuss. Not the finest piece of work ever, but am confident it has done the job.
Sorted out my modules for next year, which are really great and so much better, actually looking forward to them.
Only one exam left, on Monday, then 5 months off.

    Ruined:
Really can't be arsed to prepare for this last exam, hate the EU, direst subject of them all. Not hard, but incredibly tedious.
Weekend will be taken up with revision and very little sleep will be possible due to stupid library opening hours.

AWTA. Worst paper I've ever taken at uni. The fact that the lecturer just stood there reading from her notes in a monotone voice didn't help, tbf.

Yes we have had the exact same problem. Tbf the lecturer is a nice guy, really decent Austrian bloke, but he just cannot teach, not helped by the fact that the subject matter is totally tedious. Fortunately this module is worth less than any of my other ones, but it's just so dire. Have two days to pretty much learn the entire thing as well, gah.

Spent most of my EU classes working out how to spell Schengen.

Paid off in the written exam.

Handelsgesellschaft imo. Too bad I have nfi what the principle to be taken from that case actually is. Probably "EU law prevails over national law", which seems to be all any of the bloody cases decided by the ECJ seem to say.
