Ruined

Tried to download and pay for an MP3 today. Had no idea which site to use. Do I use an illegal downloading site - if you can find one that hasn't been bought out by the music labels.
Do I use some Russian site which promises songs for 10 cents but half the site is in Russian.
Or how about the 5 sites I tried that only work in the US
There was one in England but they only accept payment through paypal.

Trying to download iTunes now but not sure I can get mp3s through it but might have to make my peace with Apples system.
