Round 1 round-up
Bugssy took an early league in the AA Memorial, scoring 60 points to end up 12 clear of any boy else.
His Manure dominated side was helped by he clean sheet for them, and the selection of Brett Emerton looks inspired at this early stage. 2nd place is Neil, who bizarrely piked 2 Wolves players so that he could afford a strikeforce of RVN, Owen and Henry. With 3 Blackburn players as well, it is no shock he had a good weekend, but is this the right side for a long term challenge? Closely behind Neil in 3rd is the Albert Agarkar side, who included the long haired defender who is likely to get a few goals this season in Amoruso. With Henry and Smith providing punch up front, this side could be the one to beat over the season (but I would say that wouldn't I!?) Current last place side from age_master notched a mere 19 points and looking at the side, it's not hard to work out why! ![]() The table: The AA Memorial Overall August Team Manager T G R P 1 bugssy's guns rob malone 0 60 3,450 60 2 The Ginger Army Neil Pickup 0 48 17,835 48 3 Albert Agarkar rules Marc Robbins 0 44 27,380 44 3 Kurt Good Team Kurt Christensen 0 44 27,380 44 5 Wests Tigers Brendon Goff 0 38 45,419 38 6 TT Connection Liam Camps 0 36 51,726 36 6 Lords Army Reuben Thomas 0 36 51,726 36 8 Good Team Kurt Christensen 0 32 63,632 32 9 The Argonauts Jason Magee 0 31 66,192 31 10 Big Bad Bazza's XV barrie stewart 0 30 68,670 30 10 Cloete's Cruisers Andrew Cloete 1 30 70,870 30 12 Mr. Pontings Team guy kerridge 0 26 76,711 26 13 Antidisestablishment andrew garven 0 19 83,690 19 Or this link may work, but I'm not sure

Only for past weeks it is.
The problem with your selection is that the midfield and defence need to contribute more than just appearances to do consistently well over the season. The 60 goals doesn't offset the assists etc. from the middle of the park. |

I'm involved with it, but I went and became a rebel and joined another league.
