Vale Andy Holmes the man who shared the first two of Steve Redgrave's gold medal triumphs.

Passed away at the cruelly young age of 51 of Weil's disease. Leaves a one month old daughter.

Weil's disease? That's a pretty horrible way to go.

Just heard reports Andy Irons is dead at 32, apparently from Dengue Fever. Massive shock if true. Leaves behind a pregnant wife too.

RIP Blake Edwards. Director of the Pink Panther and, of course, Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Ahhh, the divine Ms Hepburn. What a wonderful movie.

RIP Captain Beefheart

From The Guardian.

Vale. Influential, but his stuff wasn't my cup of tea.
