Business books are a horrible genre, as a rule. Imagine slaving away at office all day and coming back to read more management bullshit in your spare time, no thanks.

RIP John McCririck. I doubt anyone has ever looked as much like a cartoon as him.

RIP, he was a character and whether you loved him or hated him you knew about him even if you didn't like racing. Not many people in sport can do that.

I actually met him once. Came across as a real knob. But RIP anyway.

This. I'm by no means the greatest fan of horse racing, but McCririck was so utterly barmy that you had to pay attention to him. Probably similar to Sid Waddell's commentary in darts.

Terrible to hear. Great musician and person. RIP

One of the greats. Great player. Great coach. Great leader, both in and away from rugby. Less than two months from diagnosis to demise, apparently. Very sad.

John Humble has died age 63. Not sure too many tears will be shed. Nutter of the most wretched kind who, along with an incompetent police force, cost lives.

Sad to hear of the passing of Tim Fischer, former Deputy PM and leader of the Nats. Been sick for a long time with the Spanish Dancer. Always seemed a good bloke for a Tory, though he did ask arguably the most stupid question in the history of parliamentary question time.

Peter Ellis has died of bladder cancer.

The Christchurch Creche case was a terrible miscarriage of justice, imo. Such a shame he never got to clear his name.

    Good riddance.
