Vale La Stupenda.
Dame Joan Sutherland, described by no less than Pavarotti as "the voice of the [20th] century", has passed away aged 83. RIP to her friends and family.

Simon MacCorkindale. T'was a little bit hammy, but was particularly excellent during his time on Casualty in my opinion.

RIP also Big Malcolm Allison. A man for whom "larger than life" could've been coined.

Very strange situation, there. You'd have to hope it was natural causes or, in the case of Katsidis, that it might be an accidental overdose (he had known drug issues), because he had turned his life around in the last couple of years and had a live Cox Plate chance (maybe only a place chance behind So You Think) in the John Wallace-trained Shoot Out this Saturday.
He's my age.
