    Animation, Series For Kids

    My 8 year old cousin is at our home and will be with us for 3-4 months.

    I am going back to my childhood revisiting shows such as Shonen Mowgli and Ducktales.

    Also, I am adapting to his favorite show, Oggy and the Cockroaches. I have found all episodes of OatC. Then there is this show called Superman The Animated Series which my friend gave me today.

    Any other recommendations for kids shows which you can enjoy with children, yet feel you are watching some thing intelligent?

    Excellent cartoon. Not as good as Batman: TAS though.

    Phineas and Ferb is definitely the best, most intelligent cartoon around these days. Some moments of genius in it.

    Male and very intellegent. As intellegent as a 12 year old I would say. I showed him some Chaplin classics like City Lights and God Rush and he loved them. The most intellegent kid I have seen or are all kids these days that bright...

    You won't be able to source it on DVD, and it's off the air now, but Dave The Barbarian was also pretty genius. Of course, the greatest cartoon of all-time is Spielberg's Freakazoid, and Animaniacs isn't far off.

    Keep an eye out for The Ricky Gervais Show when that comes out. An Animated version of the 1st series of Podcasts. If you want to educate your cousin on things like hairy chinese kids, the elephant man, gays and that, monkeys/chimps, sex aids, homeless fellas, new words/phrases like 'bungled in', other 'freaks'/physical disabilities, Manchester in the 70's and science; and then want to test their intelligence with a weekly installment of Rockbusters then this is the show to watch.     If you can get your hands on some of the older Nickelodeon shows they're pretty cool. Things like Doug, The Angry Beavers, Rocko's Modern Life, etc.
