Why do estate agents have to be so ****?
that persian rugs and a playroom are a neccesity in any home
And I recall my fall from grace, another time another place..
The Playroom in my house became an office, dire.
I can unequivocally say that the next place I live in wil definitely have a big play room.

What I am thinking right now is - that golf is the most frustrating sport to me. Who ever gets hot for that tournament can win it and then never win another major. Does this mean that golf is largely based on luck and getting on a hot streak... I always root for Tiger because I want some sort of sanity to this sport and to see a consistent winner. Mike Weir won the masters and then hasn't won a major since. I doubt Louis Oosthuizen (Spelling?) will win another major either. Tennis seems to be a better sport to watch as only the best players win the tournament.
Something should be done to address the issue of anyone possibly winning a golf major. Too much chance of fluking a win.

Auckland 47,103, 27, 269*, 59, 118
Tests 0,15
I think that's the fundamental nature of golf. Even fat pot-bellied 50 something guys have a chance of competing and winning events. I agree it makes for frustrating viewership unless you prefer unpredictability. I also vastly prefer tennis to golf, but that's because I've played the game and understand the technical aspects of it much better.
Also, when I watch golf, I always think, if I were to practise on a course where I know a major tournament is going to be held... let's say for a year or two before the event, doesn't that put me at a big advantage? Every golf course has its unique quirks and characteristics. Is there anything stopping pros from doing that sort of thing?
That's how we all feel when NZ manage to win a cricket match
Nah, golf's different to most any sport because every week they play everyone else. In a tennis major you play 7 matches, to win the football WC you play 7 matches and don't have to even win all of them.
Then you have to factor in different courses, conditions and the normal ups and downs of form that come in any sport.
It's not like tennis where the surface varies but the court dimensions are identical. It's a sport subject to a stack more variables.
Doesn't mean you have to like it of course.
One thing golf has going for it is that if I played to my ordinary handicap in a game against a scratch marker who had a poor day, I can beat them in a stableford match, whereas if I play Federer at tennis I wouldn't win a point.
If you watch tournament golf live, it's pretty amazing to see how they shape the ball and bomb it miles. Then again, same can be said for top tennis I guess.
