There's a special way to cook them, because they're so tough to eat and you have to make sure you make the meal as tender as possible, otherwise forget it. Adopt the following method:

You capture, kill, pluck and the bin chicken.

Then you have a pot of water which you bring to the boil then turn to simmer, and the post has to have three appropriately sized pieces of Sydney Sandstone in it.

Place the prepared Bin Chicken into the pot and leave to simmer/ slow cook for between 8-10 hours along with whatever stock you think appropriate to add taste.

Once the Bin Chicken has been slow-cooked, remove the contents from the pot, strain them then throw away the Bin Chicken and eat the sandstone.

Then sing this song (language warning):

One almost stole my chicken when I was having lunch yesterday in the Chippendale Green park. It was lunch bought from Woolies but it was still food I guess. Didn't know if people would yell wt me if zi punched it in its face so settled for stamping my foot really hard on the ground.

Exactly what I thought tbh. Never heard of "bin chicken" so I googled it, apparently it's an Ibis, probably because they are prone to............

Didn't expect the Cud Chewers to make the Super 10 after every one ranked then at bottom.

Nah, the Hawkesbury sandstone tastes like crap. I'd rather go for any of my local granites, the Albite content gives a real edge on the flavour.

Licked some Vegemite off the tube and was a bit disgusted, but then I googled how to eat it and it does taste the right amount of salty on bread if its used in tiny amounts.
