Love that I live in a country where a cabinet minister can walk into a pub with no security around and sit and have a drink.

Not sure where it came from, but Kate Ramsay has become really bangable.

When you get to my age the range of women who seem bangable is quite bewildering

Haven't watched Neighbours for a number of years, so had to google her.

This family tree is an excellent resource for those interested...

Yesterday at 2pm I sat in front of my computer and thought to myself really need to buy some accident insurance in case I can't work from a car accident or something.

Lo and behold at 8:45pm last night a telemarketer called me up and offered to sell me accident insurance. I was all set to buy it for the first 5 minutes but I couldn't get a word in edge wise to say I'll take it.

"Now mr Hurricane let me tell you about our exclusive bonus we will give you the first month free even though we expect you to sign up to this for 15 years -so I am sure the first month free will be very helpful to you"
"but wait there's more - even though I am just a telemarketer I am a qualified insurance delegate and have qualifications".
"Wait there is something else...blah blah blah"

In the end I said send me the information kit and I'll read it. Seriously if you couldn't close me on the phone last night you can't close anybody.

Just saw on FB someone who simultaneously works for infamous arms dealers/R&D'ers BAE and is the Adelaide coordinator for the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. The cognitive dissonance, it burns.

I honestly have no idea who any of these people are and I'm not sure whether that's a good or bad thing.

(no naughtiness at the link, incidentally, just their faces)
