Went to New Lanark though. Good stuff. Glasgow uni was cool too.
Kelvingrove Art Galleries, Burrell Collection and the Transport Museum (now in a brand new shiny building) are brilliant.

Interesting tidbit; the man responsible for bringing Salvador Dali's Christ of Saint John of the Cross to Glasgow is my daughter's great-great grandfather. Shame it's the City of Glasgow that owns the copyright and not the family though.

Finally back after 8 days in the Sabah forest. Was pretty fun except for the sandflies and mosquitoes.

If I proceeded and got told to sit down by the father of the bride I'd count myself lucky.

Good luck mate. Hope it goes well for you both. Are you going anywhere for a honeymoon?

Are you still wearing the Simon Le Bon 80s style coat you posted a pic of previously?

Is there anything more tragic in music than a band writing songs they aren't physically capable of singing because they don't have the vocal power they had ten years ago?

Dexter Holland struggles enough as it is with All I Want these days. You're Gonna Go Far Kid sounds horrific live vocally.

Still, seeing Offspring live must be pretty decent, if only for the novelty. I would still go and see them if I had the chance.
