Is it weird that Kieran Perkins, a man who made his career through with the aid of water, is going to be narrating a special on the 12 month anniversary of the Queensland floods?

But it's quality doesn't differ depending on the number of people who listen to it.

Yes, I realise this is a facile line of reasoning.

    Edit: Plato would still agree

Remind me not to watch that...if I hear the words 'Queensland Spirit' uttered once more this year I'll ****ing snap. Feel like I'm living in the shire with Frodo and his gang.

My most recent favourite line in the paper was, "Joe Bloggs, a member of the Australian team, and a Queenslander, blah blah blah" Give me a ****ing break.

Not referring to the quality of the sport, just that (shallow as it might sound) you can't deny it's much harder to follow a sport without some sort of regional loyalty.

Jesus, if I was a Queenslander I sure as hell wouldn't want the newspaper telling everyone I was!

It does have regional loyalty if you are from a state in the US.

Proudly against the bring back Bennett movement since he is injury prone and won't last 5 days.
