Are you still living in the Philippines? Spent a few days there last week.

Can't say Manila left me with any great memories. People there need to sort their **** out. Although I guess inexplicably inefficient ways of doing things is what happens in places where corruption and nepotism are rife, and not necessarily the fault of the people there in general.

Played a game of Aussie rules in Jakarta with the expat team when I was up there last year. Have played sport in a few places around Asia but Jakarta was by far the worst in terms of humidity and air quality, was absolutely buggered. Fun place though.

Got a few emails yesterday from various websites/forums saying:

'Happy birthday f00lins'.

Didn't realise I tried to sign f00lins up to so many things.

Who is Robert Pattinson, and why is it a big deal he is in Sydney?

You're a falling star, You're the get away car.
You're the line in the sand when I go too far.
You're the swimming pool, on an August day.
And you're the perfect thing to say.

And you play it coy, but it's kinda cute.
Ah, When you smile at me you know exactly what you do.
Baby don't pretend, that you don't know it's true.

Yeah, still in the Philippines. Manila isnt a beautiful city and the country has no easy answers to get itself out of the mess it is in but it is a wonderful place to live

If they pick Robert Pattinson to play Cobain, I'll throw up. Never been more insulted in mylife than when I heard he was on the shortlist. Has to be Gosling. Has to be.

Yep indeedy - sadly looks like not happening as things have changed - Shoulder op for myself, job opportunites etc, everyone scattering throughout the globe...will happen one day though, just probably not in 2012. 'm aiming to be living in th (god forbid) UK then...though i spose a 1 week or so stopover in Phillipines wouldn't go astray...

Just seen the trailer for Immortals. It's either going to be awesome or amazingly bad. Or both.

The panda's are great, I just love their cbf attitude. The hostel that I stayed in was great, the people awesome, and I miss a girl there as well. TBH the food that I had wasn't that spicy, although the food in Xi'an was spicy. I never made it to Chongqing, and from what I've heard, that is spicy.

And I will say this andy, if you do go to Chengdu in the future, and decide to fly, don't use Chengdu Airlines, I flew with them to Xi'an, and for the whole time I had this feeling that it was not a good idea that it was to fly with them. Never was I so relieved to get somewhere in one piece.
