Haven't really been to a strip club, but got dragged along to "titty bar" (stripped club? ) once when I was in Japan. Wasn't really my thing, tbh.

Now I'm living out the back of the big gentleman's club in Wellington. Walk down the alley past the back door everyday, haven't once thought about going in. Have a good laugh at the skanks as they try to covertly enter their place of work though.....

If a high profile club is in the offing, I am all for it, not for the mediocre ones though. Only ones I would rate 8/10 or above to sum it up.

The last line was in that vein intentionally, the first part of the post wasn't. I see how it sounds like that though.

Only once, on a mate's stag in Whitley Bay. Place was called "Rio's". 2 entrance (this was 2000 tho) so was expecting to get fleeced for drinks and/or have less conventionally attractive dancers, but was pleasantly surprised on both counts.

We chipped in to get a private show for mate whose stag it was, which was more funny than sexy, as I suppose it was going to be with a dozen or so of his beered up mates gawking at him.

Was on my way home one night (Mornington to Frankston) had a few seats spare in the taxi cab, couple of blokes jumped in. Dean Jones and his manager.

Told him we were getting out near my house, he can take the taxi where he was going. (5am). told us "nah **** that your with us now......."took us to the delightful Kittens strippers. Told the manager he was Dean Jones and got us in for free plus 3 rounds of drinks and then paid for our private dance. What a bloke .

Heard he teed off the next morning at 930 and shot 75.

Three times - first was a "rite of passage" type evening at Uni on a trip to Brussels - One bloke piped up "I can speak Belgian (should have given us a clue at that stage really) and that place is a Vietnamese Restaurant" - it wasn't - but an entertaining evening was had by all

Other two occasions were last year - I went to a distinctly iffy club for work related reasons - both times it wasn't open for business but I needed to see the interior when the place was empty and when the lights were down and the place was about to open for business - all I can say is that I never realised what could be done with a bit of clever lighting - in broad daylight the place looked like it should be condemned - by the time they were prepared to open it looked like a half decent nightclub - the girls, fully clothed when I saw them, all seemed East European (although the management were too) and all looked distinctly unhappy - had they looked happier to be there I might have accepted my client's invitation to stay for a while after opening but I couldn't face it so decided to risk causing offence and left

Yes, and so have, incidentally, most girls. There is a strip club for women (no guys allowed) here in PIttsburgh (actually the bottom floor of another strip club). Sometimes a group of us go, with a bunch of girls, and spend some time at the top, and then the girls go down to the basement, where apparently, with male strippers, it gets pretty graphic on stage. A lot of girls like spending time at a strip club with both women and men, so it's easier to get them to go than you think, even if the club doesn't have a section for women with male strippers.

Most important thing: remember guys, listen to Chris Rock: there is no *** in the champagne room.

I would say a minimum of 60-75% of women have been to strip clubs, from my experience (though probably a lesser percentage to a male strip club, since there are fewer of them). And probably 90% of guys.
