Sad news, even if certain people probably wouldn't think so. 2nd famous death today, ITSTL.

Purely as an entertainer, he was certainly the biggest entertainer post 1980's. I can only think of Elvis and The Beatles as having a legitimately bigger claim to fame.

It's in poor taste that FFS. But I don't blame you Volty. I blame it on the boogie.

Reformation of the Jackson Four to be announced anytime soon.

Just thought, his songs are going to be all over the radio in the next couple of weeks.

You know the Chaser song came straight into my head when I found out that this has happened.

Michael Jackson dead, Farrah Fawcett dead, apparently Jeff Goldblum is dead after he fell from a set structure whilst filming in New Zealand

And Patrick Swayze will be joining aforementioned three pretty soon.

Jeez, just noticed this. Hope people always remember the times he gave everyone. Guess he's stopped now he's got enough.

Seriously, though, as I've always said, whatever he was he was one of the most brilliant and significant musicians in history. RIP, to say "he'll be missed" is one of the grossest understatements ever.

Nothing about that on the old interweb - in any case he'd have been able to fly, surely?

Apparently Jackson's dying wish was to be melted down into plastic bags so he could still be a danger to young children...
