Weird reading this thread having been away for a while, and seeing the overall negative/piss-taking vibe. It's in contrast to what I've seen at pretty much all other forums/people in real life, which is a general vibe that he was a weirdo but regardless of that, his music and his persona as an entertainer were awesome- and not just awesome because he was talented, but awesome because, when you look back at his music, videos, concerts etc, you remember just how important and influential and popular he was, and how he connected emotionally with people, how he was the soundtrack to people's lives, you know, all that kinda crap- on the same level as The Beatles or Elvis.

Personally I'm absolutely obsessed with Michael Jackson and am still youtubing him on a daily basis, and I seem to come from an entire family of MJ lovers, weirdly enough- even my grandparents loved him.

I'm not sure what this all says about the demographics of cricketweb, but I'm sure it says something interesting.

It always seemed to me like Michael Jackson fans wanting to blame someone for his death, which was most likely his own fault. The amount of surgeries and as a result drugs he has taken over the years weren't exactly harmless.

If it wasn't Dr Murray who had given Jackson the drugs it would have been another being pressured into it. People with so much power get what they want whether it is good for them or not.

It has to be said though, Jackson was a fruitloop. Any man who has kids in their bed is disturbed.

I watched the 'This Is It' documentary last year, and it's amazing how good he was when he was on stage. The bloke was one hell of an entertainer, someone with actual talent instead of the Britneys and the variety of two-minute wonders from talent shows.

I also remember him on a documentary here a while back (can't remember which channel or what it was called...could've been 60 Minutes) when he went into his studio with the interviewer and started singing and dancing a bit. Was incredible, and he was just mucking around.

Basically in US law there is two types of manslaughter; voluntary and involuntary.

Involuntary is just when there is an absence of intention.
