Things you have always wanted to/lifetime ambitions.

So...it's been a while sin'ce i've done this, so I'll try my best to make sure it's not over too quickly and a big dissapointment but....

are there any things in life that you have always aspired to see/do etc...?

Personally, I would like to meet Chris Jericho and David Tennant, preferably not at the same time.

I've done of the things on your list you know ;ph34r:

I would like to see the whites promoted twice, meet Axl Rose, and go to Dublin and drink Guinness

Coupla million quid in the bank, a stately home with a grouse moor & a whacking great penis in me undercrackers and I'd be a happy man. It's as good as a feast.

Go to Old Trafford. Meet any of the hottest women I find the hottest.

Both possible.

Score a double hundred in League Cricket and be able to guitar part all the way through Tears flawlessly.

Me and 2 mates have a 100 things to do list - some of the things are random though and hardly lifetime ambitions.

Play in the NBA (I'm sort of a cross between A.I and Ricky Rubio, surely there will be a market?)
Go to as many Arsenal away games as possible (happening next year)
Call David Bentley a **** to his face (hopefully next year)
Actually enjoy flying(my last three have been utter ****e)
Go a full day at work without getting on CW (difficult)
Seeing my mate Beevers smoke without bum puffing (dirty ****, not likely)

I'd like to climb a really high mountain once in my life, but I don't think it will ever happen tbh.

I will go to the Kentucky Derby in the next 5-10 years. It'll cost a bit with flights, accommodation and tickets that will be in the hundreds (US$) for a decent view, but it will happen and it will be worth every cent.

When I was young (16/17), the ambition was to cycle round Europe. A big loopy route taking in a bit of every country in Europe. It was ambitious, given where I was living at the time; my lack of bike, my inability to speak anything over the pidgin English and German and my lack of funds but it did make it to the serious planning stage. Given there was no internet to assist in preparation at the time, it failed but it was looking possible for a while.

Nowadays, I'd like to raft down the Franklin River, Tasmania (7 days) and volunteer to assist on Codfish Island during the Kakapo breeding season. It'd be hard yakka, but it would be a chance to see New Zealand in its real form.

Why did it fail rather than merely get postponed?
