Apparently it's in the far North of one of the less interesting mainland states.

Heading up there next week for a few days (work of course). Where should I go, when and why, if anyone knows.

The Woolshed - Nightclub/Pub - Dancing on tables and backpackers everywhere

Pj Obriens - Pub/Clpub - Bar chicks dancing on bar- Backpackers happy to have a chat not just bumpngrind.

Both places pumping every night of the week due to the amount of backpackers in Cairns.
Was the location of me and my boss's first piss up together, ended up going between the two until 4am when we figured that we should get to bed as we had to drive back to townsville the next day. (And the norweigan bird went home

)

For a steak dinner head to the Cock and Bull, can't go wrong.

Tha'ts about my experience on cairns, could tell more if this was one year in the future as i'll be up there quite frequently for work.

They love a cyclone or two up there. That's all I know.
